If you work for a charity or community group, are a democracy campaigner, or just want to help spread the word about the London elections we are really keen to work with you.
On Thursday 3rd May 2012, voters in London will vote in the Mayor of London and London Assembly elections.
At the last London election in 2008, only 45 per cent of registered voters cast their votes. The reasons given for not voting vary from 'politics is not for me' and 'I can't make a difference', to 'I forgot', 'I didn't know it was happening' or 'I didn't understand'.
London is a diverse city and we realise that to reach many of the people who tend not to vote, sometimes the messenger is just as important as the message. For the 2012 elections we want to inform all Londoners about how their choices on 3rd May will affect their everyday lives for the next four years and we would like your help to do it.
Together, we can reach out and inspire as many Londoners as possible, to encourage them to take part and have their say.
As we get nearer to the election we will be creating a number of multi-lingual and disability accessible resources, including a quick guide leaflet to the election, advertising material, and downloadable banners for your websites. We'll also be suggesting ideas of how to help make these elections relevant to your community and the people you work with.

Have your say. Vote 3rd May.
